Your Baby
In anticipation of delivery, the baby positions itself with the head down towards the pelvis and sheds lanugo hairs. At any point between week 35 and 40, your little one will let you know he's ready to make a grand entrance and give you your first glimpse at 40 weeks of amazing development.

You may have noticed an increase in Braxton Hicks contractions over the last
few weeks as you're uterus prepares for the big day. If you're a first-time mom,
you may be wondering if these are the real thing. Well, most likely you'll know
when they're the real thing, but just in case, keep track. If your contractions
seem to be coming at regular intervals and are increasing in intensity start
paying attention. Walking around, getting in a warm shower, and getting hydrated
will calm Braxton Hicks, it won't calm real labor.
Stay hydrated (dehydration can bring on premature labor), get as much rest as
you can, and rent all those movies you've been itching to see--pretty soon
you're going to be on someone else's schedule!
