Your Baby

Your baby starts practicing breathing by taking in and expelling small amounts of amniotic fluid. The pancreas also produces insulin, important for the breakdown of sugars. By now your baby resembles a small doll with all the facial features of an infant at birth.

You

Achoo... oops! Your uterus is pressing down on your bladder weakening your muscles and, alas, causing urine leaks. The Kegel exercise can help but may not completely alleviate the problem--particularly as you get bigger. If Kegels don't help at all, and you're soaking through your underwear, contact your doctor to make sure that you're not leaking amniotic fluid.

And if you're feeling increasingly tired during what should be the "golden stage" of your pregnancy, check with your doctor. You may not be getting enough iron.
