Your baby's body isn't very proportionate and the head makes up half the size.

Your Baby

The baby's body isn't very proportionate and the head makes up half the size. The neck develops and the head rises up from the chest. It may be possible for curious parents to tell if they have a boy or girl.

You

Your uterus has expanded to about the size of a grapefruit, and you may have gained a little weight. Doctors recommend a weight gain of about 25 to 35 pounds during pregnancy--more if you are underweight to begin with (28 to 40) and less if you are overweight (15 to 25).

As far as exercise goes -- keep on (or get) moving! Exercise is good for you, and what's good for you is good for your baby. If you've been exercising regularly, continue to do so, but pay close attention to how you're feeling and don't overdo it. If you're not much into exercise, now's a good time to start, but take it easy. Walking is your best bet. Try to incorporate at least one walk into your daily routine.
