Your Baby
The eyelids now cover the eyes and will remain sealed shut until week 27. Pupils form and as the arms and legs grow longer, your future Olympian can practice some early moves. But since the baby still has plenty of room in the uterus, you won't feel these movements for several more weeks.
You
As you and your partner both may have noticed, your waistline is not the only that’s expanding… so are your breasts! Too bad they’re too sore to touch. This breast transformation may have begun as soon as you conceived, but by this week, they’re bigger and more tender than ever. They may increase a whole cup size by the end of your first trimester, and 2 cup sizes by the end of your pregnancy. But take heart, the tenderness should abate soon as you move into your second trimester.
You may also feel particularly wiped out his week as all your pregnancy symptoms start catching up with you. Rest whenever you can (even if that means sneaking a little nap at work!) and continue your healthy diet.
