You are in Week 8 of Your Pregnancy
FIRST TRIMESTER SECOND TRIMESTER THIRD TRIMESTER

Size: .56 - .8 inches

Eyelids form and grow but are sealed shut. By the end of the second month your baby has begun to look like a real person.

Your Baby

Finite features including eyelids, ears, hair, fingers, and toes start to take shape.

You

What the heck is going on with your skin? You may be experiencing oily skin and breakouts as your hormone levels increase. Things should level off in your second trimester. Be sure to continue your healthy diet and taking prenatal vitamins. At this stage, you’re burning through fuel like a Mack truck. Your body now requires double the iron.

You may also be having some far out dreams; a particular hormone increase keeps you in a dreamy, light stage of sleep longer. And because you’re not sleeping as deeply, you may remember your dreams more clearly.
