You are in Week 7 of Your Pregnancy
FIRST TRIMESTER SECOND TRIMESTER THIRD TRIMESTER

Size: .44 - .52 inches

The legs and arms extend and grow from the torso and the heart divides into right and left chambers.

Your Baby

With your child's biggest growth spurt until puberty, the embryo more than doubles in size from .16 to .44 inches. The legs and arms extend and grow from the torso and the heart divides into right and left chambers. The forebrain also divides into two hemispheres.

You

Should be feeling round about the same as you were last week, but you might notice that your jeans are getting a little tight around the waist. If morning sickness is getting to you, try to eat something before you get out of bed in the morning. Keep snacks (crackers, etc.) with you at all times. Eat small meals, often, never letting your stomach get too full or too empty. You could also try chewing gum or sucking on mints or slices of lemon.

It’s okay to have sex anytime throughout a normal pregnancy, but it may be the farthest thing from your mind. In between bouts of morning sickness, you may have noticed an increase in sensitivity in your pelvic area caused by pregnancy hormones. This may seem like a tease at this point, but don’t worry. When you’re feeling better in your second trimester, those hormones will still be at work, increasing your sexual pleasure.
