With extensive concert tours through the USA and abroad, numerous radio broadcasts, television appearances and recordings, and the honor of being presented in recital at Carnegie Hall, Morris is uniquely accomplished among his peers. A protégé of the legendary Virgil Fox, he performs a rich repertoire in the grand tradition of American concert organists, enhancing his recitals with commentary reflecting his quick wit and great wealth of organ lore.

Read More The Museum of the Confederacy’s collections are rich with objects that are visually interesting, have unique stories associated with them, or are just plain quirky. For years these objects, while fascinating on their own, have not fit into the Museum’s larger exhibitions. When assembled together however, these “curiosities give an extraordinary view into the process of museum collecting and the unexpected surprises that can come from it. Featured artifacts include a hoof from the horse of Turner Ashby, jewelry fashioned from human hair, body armor, a letter from Pope Pius IX to Jefferson Davis, and numerous items struck by bullets.Admission Fee: $5-$9

The Ritz Chamber Players is hailed by The Baltimore Sun as “one of the most interesting and dynamic ensembles to emerge in recent years.†The group’s flexible structure of instrumentation allows for astonishing combinations of virtuoso players and rising stars, creating riveting and dynamic performances of chamber music repertoire. We first presented the Ritz in 2008 and enthusiastically welcome them back.
