Camp Information

EBL Coaching specializes in one-on-one and small group tutoring for students in grades preK-12 using research-based, multi-sensory techniques. We start with an assessment of each student to gain a sense of his or her strengths and weaknesses and the kinds of methods that are most appropriate for that student. We then put together a diagnostic and prescriptive plan for that student that is customized to his or her needs, and hand match that student with one of our instructors who is specifically trained in the most appropriate methods.

As students progress through elementary school, academic and language demands increase at a rapid pace. Consequently, it becomes essential for students to develop strong skills in reading, writing, reading comprehension, and math. During this three week course, we use multi-sensory techniques to build such critical skills. By the end of the course, students will be prepared and armed with the tools they need for academic success.

During this course, students receive individualized instructional sessions to teach them the fundamental skills that are essential for elementary success. They are initially assessed to determine their strengths and weaknesses, grade levels, and their understanding of the parts of the English language. We then customize multi-sensory techniques to engage the students and teach them core skills in reading, reading comprehension, writing, and math. As the language demands of school increase, these skills become evermore essential for academic success. In small group settings, students will learn research-based strategies to teach them the tools they need to feel confident and successful in school.

Students will build skills in:

- Reading & Spelling
- Reading Comprehension
- Writing Organization and Development
- Vocabulary
- Study Skills
