American Heritage Summer Day Camps offer a selection of activities that can't be found in any other single location. Facilities include air-conditioned cabins, an Olympic size pool and pre-school pool, a gymnasium, theatre and more. Note that fees for all Heritage camps include nutritious meals, as well as free central bus transportation for many Palm Beach and Broward neighborhoods.
American Heritage Summer Day Camp offers a variety of traditional camp activities including indoor and outdoor sports, art activities, computers, games, field trips, and special events. For campers ages 3-14.
Science Adventure Camp
Your camper can experience hands-on lab experiments, field trips and and outdoor projects during three unique and distinctive 3-week sessions. The first session will focus on marine biology; the second session will explore the Everglades environment; and for the young scientist, the third session will bring chemistry and the physical sciences into focus with fascinating, fun laboratory experiments. For campers 8-14 years old.
Musical Theatre Camp allows campers to have a full production experience ending with a complete theatre performance of a well known show. Instruction is provided by professional actors, directors and musicians who have experience working with children in an educational setting. A typical daily schedule would begin with mornings devoted to acting, voice and dance classes. Afternoons are dedicated to private acting lessons, vocal coaching or dance instruction along with the full production rehearsal. For campers ages 5-14
Art Camp provides an exploration of a variety of visual arts media to develop campers creativity and individuality. Instruction for Young Artists Camp is provided by professional art teachers and American Heritage counselors. For campers ages 6-14
Robotics Camp will appeal to interested campers of every skill level from beginner to advanced robotics enthusiasts, Robotics Camp offers group and individual opportunities for campers to create and program robots with a purpose! Each three-week session will provide a different theme and new challenges. Campers will design, construct, program, power, operate, and compete for trophies in our engineering/computer center. For campers 8-14 years of age.
The camp day for all specialty camps include a swim period and a free period offering a wide range of activities.
Summer School/Camp Option is offered to students attending summer school classes in the morning. Counselors bring students to camp to have lunch and enjoy afternoon camp activities.
