What is in Season? Salad Greens
Salad greens are a great spring tonic, and one of the first arrivals in the farmers\' market. What could be better than a spring mesclun mix, or some tender dandelion greens? Even better than visiting the farmers\' market? Growing your own. Salad greens germinate in a matter of days, and are ready to be harvested within a few weeks. Plus, they can be grown in almost anything.

Go to www.kidsgardeningstore.com for a seed-starter kit - or, better yet, just buy a pack of mesclun seeds and throw them into a pot in a sunny location with some potting soil. Don\'t forget to water!
