Kimberley Clayton Blaine is a mother of two young boys and is a licensed Family and Child Therapist with a specialty in working with children ages newborn to six years old. She has been working with families and children for over 20 years. Her years of experience include: working as a preschool teacher, psychology intern, supervisor of preschool programs, director of child abuse programs and trainer for child welfare organizations.
She has created children’s coloring books for the California Department of Criminal Justice Planning and has coordinated conferences for the California Dept. of Social Services.
Kimberley currently teaches “Early Childhood Brain Development” and “Positive Discipline Strategies” at UCLA Extension Education Department. Kimberley is well known for her warmth, ingenuity and willingness to reach out to families in need of state of the art child rearing resources. In her own words, “I am here for children. Every time I try to branch out I end up back in the preschool classroom…that is were I’m destined to be.”
In 2006, Kimberley launched an innovative and one-of-a-kind web show on parenting the very young child, called TheGoToMom.TV.
