TV Disrupts Preschoolers' Sleep
If you're having trouble getting your little one to sleep, consider turning off the TV. A study featured in the October issue of the journal Pediatrics revealed that the more time a child spends watching television, the more likely he or she is to have an irregular sleep schedule. Researchers reported their findings after surveying parents of more than 2,000 children under age 3. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends no media or TV for kids under age 2, and less than two hours a day for children 2 and older.
