Discounted rates are offered for an on-site childcare facility at the firm’s Englewood location as well as at LaPetite Academy centers serving its Boulder location. A flexible spending account also allows employees to use pre-tax contributions for up to $5,000 of childcare expenses annually.

The company offers flexible starting and stopping times, simply requesting that staff members be available between core business hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Employees can take time off to attend to family needs such as school functions and children’s doctor appointments without using sick time or vacation time.

Sybase offers a comprehensive health insurance plan including medical, dental and vision care, available for all employees who work 30 or more hours a week. Along with a medical flexible spending account, the company provides long-term disability coverage and a life insurance policy worth 1.5 times the employee’s annual salary. The firm matches up to $2,000 per year for qualified employees’ contributions to the 401(k) plan and provides an education reimbursement of up to $6,000 per year.
