Five minutes on the phone with nationally syndicated radio talk show host Dr. Laura Schlessinger and you’ll be sure of two things: her abrasive radio persona is not an act, and neither is her determination to save abused and neglected children in America.

Controversial Beliefs

  Renowned for her controversial opinions and frequently attacked in the media, Schlessinger is less than warm and fuzzy on the phone. But she’s honest and to the point when it comes to her beliefs about what is best for America’s children.

Schlessinger is heartsick for the number of children being sent to daycare providers the majority of their waking hours. She believes children should be raised, full-time, by loving parents.

And while she is passionate about the subject, she insists that she is not trying to force her opinion on the masses, only support those who share her beliefs, and enlighten those who don’t.
